We will be holding our Meet the Teacher event for first through fifth graders! Meet the Teacher is a drop-in event where students can see their classroom, meet their teacher, and drop off school supplies.  In order to reduce traffic both inside classrooms and in the parking lot, we are staggering arrival this year by last name.  4:30 - 5:15: Students with last names beginning with A-L 5:15 - 6:00: Students with last names beginning with M-Z If you are unable to attend during your assigned time slot or if your family has multiple last names, just come when you are able.  However, we do ask all who are able to adhere to their time slots to help with crowding.

Update: the date has changed due to rain. There are now two sessions on October 16: 9:15-11:15am and 4:30-6:30pm. Come work alongside your Penny Road community to spruce up our campus. We will be spreading mulch, cleaning out sticks, picking up trash, and planting fall flowers. Sign up here and bring your rakes, wheelbarrows, and gloves!

Voting on important items: school landscaping, books for the library, items for teachers

Do you enjoy DIY? Are you looking for gift ideas that you or your student can make and give? Order your DIY ornament kit from AR Workshop - there are 19 options to choose from. This is a fundraiser for Penny Road Elementary, so we will receive some of the proceeds to use for our school. Order your kit by December 8 at 5:00pm. Kits will be available to pick up at the school on December 11 and 12. Alternatively, if you'd like to join other Penny Road families and DIY together, check out Parents' Night Out at AR Workshop on December 1.
