Food for Friends
Food for Friends is a program at Penny Road Elementary that supplies meals to families at PRE with limited food resources. Food donations help supplement meals during the weekend, when school-aged children are most at risk for hunger.
Many of our food donations are provided by our wonderful Penny Road community! Please consider helping this program thrive at Penny Road by signing up to bring in food weekly or monthly.
Example food items include:
- 1-pound bags of rice
- cans of black beans
- box of granola bars
- flour tortillas
- boxes of mac and cheese
- box of fruit pouches
- box of individual servings of instant oatmeal
- canned tuna/chicken
